The sleek titanium body is definitely nice to look at and handle, however, it is the ultrathin diamonds, high performance footplate and multiple depth settings that make it perform at the highest levels.

The PhD II is ideal for surgeons performing astigmatism procedures in conjunction with cataract surgery. A 300µs setting for grooves is followed by 550, 600, 650, 700 and 750 µm settings for AK/LRI and a fully extended setting for paracenteses, main incision or wound enlargement. Our PhD makes the ideal multi-purpose scalpel for the modern ophthalmic micro-surgeon.
