"I designed the Para-Trap Diamond in conjunction with Doug Mastel more than five years ago, in anticipation of bimanual phaco. The knife works spectacularly well for us in creating two side-port incisions that are funnel-shaped, and have the appropriate internal diameter of 1.2mm.

The incision size and shape created by the Para-Trap Diamond knife allows for the easy introduction of all of our handpieces, and allows us to achieve bimanual phaco with the greatest of ease.”
