This makes a much smoother and more controlled dissection and results in a better bed. Ultimately, finding critical surgical planes in soft eye situations, sharpness afforded by ultrathin diamonds is a major benefit.

The Ahmed Super Crescent™ takes a different approach to the physics of the dissection. By approaching more of a square or linear edge right at the dissection shear front, this pentium faceted trapezoidal blade distributes the forces across a larger surface area than other designs giving superb control of depth & plane.
